One Punch Man

Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] The story takes place in the fictional Japanese metropolis of City Z. The world is full of strange monsters that mysteriously appear and cause disasters. Saitama, the protagonist, is an exceptionally powerful hero who easily defeats the monsters or other villains with a single punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored with his powers and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can fight him. On his adventures, he meets new friends, enemies, and his own disciple, the cyborg Genos, and joins the Heroes Association in order to gain fame for all of his efforts to defeat evil. Despite defeating many strong monsters that even the Heroes Association’s top members are unable to defeat, Saitama struggles to gain respect. Most people look down on him due to his plain physical appearance, and some accuse him of being a counterfeit hero. Only a small number of individuals recognize his incredible talent and humility towards others.

Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] In an alternate world, a small percentage of children are able to manifest superpowers upon reaching puberty. Yuu Otosaka, a boy who awakens the ability to temporarily possess others, hopes to use his power to live an easy going high school life. However, he is caught red-handed by the mysterious Nao Tomori and is forced to transfer to Hoshinoumi Academy (星ノ海学園 Hoshinoumi Gakuen^?, "Star Ocean Academy"), where he and the other student council members must help students with abilities.

Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] Zenigata is assigned to protect Elena Gotti, the famous wife of a recently deceased billionaire, Roberto Gotti. In fact it's said that she's the only one to know where Roberdo hid all his money, so her life is continuously threatened by many robbers, included Lupin. Elena was a poor girl forced into prostitution by her own father, until she met Roberto which saved her; but when he found out that she had a lover he spread the false news about her knowing about his caveau's hideout before he died, in order to make her life a living hell. Zenigata manages to protect her from Lupin, but it's later revealed that she was really aware of the caveau's hideout: however, after having known Zenigata, she decides to use it for the good of Italy.

Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] During the One Year War of U.C. 0079, the Earth Federation and Principality of Zeon engage in a fierce battle at the "Thunderbolt Sector", a shoal zone in the former Colony Side 4 "Moore". After successfully infiltrating Zeon's sniper field, ace Federation pilot and jazz enthusiast Io Fleming is given control of the latest Gundam prototype. Side 4, or Moore, was destroyed by the Zeon forces and is now a "Thunderbolt Sector" filled with floating debris. The Moore Brotherhood, made up of survivors who have lost their homeland, launches an operation to eliminate Zeon's Living Dead Division which now occupies the sector. Pilot Io Fleming of the Moore Brotherhood is shot down in battle by Daryl Lorenz, a Zeon ace sniper, but manages to escape. After killing an enemy pilot and stealing his mobile suit, Io taunts Daryl by sneering at his prosthetic legs. Daryl swears to seek revenge on Io, who has killed his ally and mocked him and his comrades.

Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] Nine-year-old Ren has recently lost his mother, whom he has lived with since his parents divorced. With no news of his father and refusing to live with his legal guardians, Ren flees into the streets of Shibuya resenting humanity.

In the Beast Kingdom (渋天街, jūtengai), the lord has decided he will retire in order to reincarnate as a deity and names two potential successors: the popular Iôzen, who is also the father of two children, and the powerful Kumatetsu, who is also lonely and lazy. The Beast Lord (バケモノ, bakemono) suggests that Kumatetsu find a disciple in hopes of inspiring him to succeed him. While wandering the streets of Tokyo with his makeshift companion, Tatara, Kumatetsu meets Ren and suggests that the boy becomes his disciple. Though Ren is fiercely opposed, he follows Kumatetsu back to the Beast Kingdom out of curiosity but is unable to go back to the human world. As he watches a battle between Iôzen and Kumatetsu, Ren is impressed with Kumatetsu's persistence despite the lack of support from onlookers. When Ren cheers for him, Kumatetsu is easily defeated. However, the Beast Lord declares actual duel of succession has not come yet.

Taking Ren as a disciple, Kumatetsu gives him a new name, Kyûta in relation to his age. Their initial training sessions go poorly as Kumatetsu does not know how to teach, but Kyûta realizes that he can learn from Kumatetsu by imitating him as he performs household tasks. The boy gradually finds that he can predict his master's movements to improve his fighting skills and they soon begin in training together.

Eight years later, Kyûta has become a distinguished kendo practitioner and hopes to make his master proud. Through his relationship with Kyûta, Kumatetsu gained his own following of supporters, including the younger son of Iôzen, and receives a number of requests from young beasts wishing to be trained. By chance, Kyûta finds his way back the human world, where he befriends Kaede, a young student who helps Kyûta catch up with his studies. In the process, Kyûta discovers that his father is hoping to meet him and catch up on their lost years apart. Torn by his double life, he is unable to reconcile the resentment he had as Ren and the lack of connections he has as Kyûta. When he rejects both his father and Kumatetsu, he discovers a powerful void within himself that nearly overwhelms him until Kaede calms him down and gives him a bracelet that has helped her when she becomes anxious.

On the day of the succession duel, Kumatetsu loses confidence without Kyûta's encouragement and is quickly subdued by Iôzen. However, Kyûta has been secretly watching and reveals himself, helping Kumatetsu defeat Iôzen. When Kumatetsu is declared the winner and the new lord, Iôzen's elder son Ichirôhiko is revealed to be a human who had been found on the streets of Tokyo and adopted by Iôzen. Having developed a vacuum in his heart like Kyûta, Ichirôhiko manifests telekinetic powers and seriously injures Kumatetsu. Kyûta is nearly overtaken by his own emptiness and tries to kill Ichirôhiko, but regains his senses with Kaede's bracelet as Ichirôhiko is consumed by darkness and disappears.

Kyûta decides to leave for the human world to fight Ichirôhiko. When Kaede stubbornly refuses to leave him, they are attacked by Ichirôhiko, who pursues them in the form of a destructive whale. Unable to hold his own against Ichirôhiko, the young man decides to use the vacuum within himself to absorb his opponent's negative energy and then kill himself, saving everyone else. Before he can follow through with this self sacrifice Kumatetsu uses his new privilege as the lord and reincarnates as a deity, taking the form of a sword "to be handled with the heart" in reference to their first training session together. He merges with his pupil's form, filling his empty void within him, and guides him into defeating his enemy without killing him.

In the aftermath, Ren celebrates his victory with Kaede in the Beast Kingdom and returns to the human world. After reconciling with his father and himself, he attends the local university and keeps Kumatetsu within his heart. Meanwhile, Ichirôhiko wakes up surrounded by his adoptive family, understanding that he is, like Ren, a human raised by beasts, and accepts it as well.
