Most of the first episode occurs within 'Greater East Asia Cultural Society' which is actually a front for the Japanese spy agency where it trains spies for insertion into other countries. This episode introduces all of the characters and introduces the viewer to the concept of 'The Joker Game'. The episode ends with the training spies searching a supposed foreign spy's home for evidence proving that he is in fact a spy. Sakuma's life is used as a pawn by one of the other spies when the act of him committing seppuku is used as a bargaining tool to get inside of the foreign man's home. It however becomes clear that actually Sakuma is being played by his superior and the other spies and there is no evidence linking the foreign man to being a spy.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] A monster appears during the industrial revolution and infects humans with its bite, turning them into Kabane. Kabane are aggressive, undead creatures that cannot be defeated unless the glowing heart, which is protected by a layer of iron, is pierced. Unfortunately, most melee weapons and the steam presssure guns used by the Bushi are not very effective against them. On the island Hinomoto, people have built fortress-like stations to shelter themselves from these creatures. People access the stations and transport wares between them with the help of Hayajiro, armored locomotives running on steam. One day a Hayajiro under the control of the Kabane crashes into Aragane station and they attack the city. A young engineer called Ikoma uses the opportunity to test with success his anti-Kabane weapon, the piercing gun (ツラヌキ筒 tsuranuki zutsu), but is infected in the process, although he manages to resist the virus and become a Kabaneri, a human-Kabane hybrid. Assisted by Mumei, another Kabaneri who appears to help them, Ikoma and the other survivors of the station board the Hayajiro Kotetsujyo (甲鉄城 Kōtetsujō, Iron Fortress) and depart to seek shelter elsewhere, fighting the hordes of Kabane along the way.

3:55 - 4:45    Kiznaiver 3-4
K I Z N A I V E R
Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] Kiznaiver takes place in the futuristic, fictional Japanese town of Sugomori City. While the city appears to be normal, in reality, it was created to test a large-scale experiment known as the "Kizna System". The ideal goal of the currently incomplete Kizna System is to create world peace by connecting people through shared pain and suffering. All those who are connected to the system are called "Kiznaivers". If a single Kiznaiver experiences pain, either emotional or physical, the system distributes it among the other Kiznaivers. A few days before the start of summer vacation, a mysterious and seemingly emotionless girl, Noriko Sonozaki, tells high school student, Katsuhira Agata, that he has been selected to become a Kiznaiver, alongside several of his classmates. This allows Katsuhira to share his pain and build bonds with his classmates, whose lives and personalities each differ from his own. This leads to serious implications as Katsuhira's classmates attempt to shoulder each other's pain and Noriko assigns them on various missions
