More Cosplay at ACen 2025...
Anime Central 2025 - REEL 1
Anime Central (ACen) is the largest anime, manga and Japanese popular culture convention in Chicago and the Midwest. ACen happens once a year in the Spring (around April or May) less than 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, in Rosemont, IL. The convention is held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, IL.

ACen Highlights...
Anime Central is the largest anime, manga and Japanese popular culture convention in Chicago and the Midwest. The 3-day event is hosted annually at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare & Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL (Near the Airport) Special Thanks to all the vendors and cosplayers, we had a great time. See you next year!

| [5/17/24 - 9:30 a.m.] The line for ACen stretches along the side of the entire convention center. For the first time, all attendees must go through security and metal detectors. |

| [5/17/24 - 9:35 a.m.] The line even occupies the entire skybridge that links the convention center and hotels with the parking garage. |
 |
| [5/17/24 - 9:36 a.m.] A normal 7 minute walk took more than 45 minutes just to get through security. |
 |
| [5/17/24 - 10:15 a.m.] Even though air conditioners were installed in the skybridge, with hundreds of people inside, the temperatures rose rapidly, causing some attendees to faint. |

| "Thunderbolt Fantasy" is an animated action/adventure/drama made with puppets! |

| The "Thunderbolt Fantasy" puppets stand over 3 feet tall and are almost as big as a person. |

| Looks like he upgraded the chasis this year with acrylic tubes. |

| Remember that one episode of "Chainsaw Man" where they all DIED? Yeah, that was awesome. Hope I didn't spoil anything for ya. ^_^ |
