Final Trailer for Season 3 of...
Favreau once again serves as showrunner, executive producing alongside Dave Filoni, Famuyiwa, Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck co-executive produce.
In March 2022, Back to the Future actor Christopher Lloyd was revealed to be a guest star for the season, though details about his character are being kept secret.
An official synopsis for season 3 reads, "The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu."
"Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together,"
In two short weeks, audiences everywhere will once again be flying across the galaxy with The Mandalorian. Season 3 of the hit Star Wars show returns March 1.
When last we saw The Mandalorian on The Mandalorian, Luke Skywalker came and took his little friend, Grogu, off to train as a Jedi. Season 3, however, won’t pick up there as two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett completed that story, showing Grogu choose to end his Jedi training and return to the Mandalorian. Now back together again, and having revealed to The Armorer that he removed his helmet, Mando must redeem himself in the eyes of the people, and deal with the fact that he and Grogu are now bonded together forever, like father and son.

Ahsoka Tano Behind the Scenes of Mandalorian
It seems the project is still a long way off so we didn’t get many details on the plot. One thing we do know is that the show is going to be set immediately after the events of Star Wars: Rebels, which means that it should all be before Ahsoka’s meeting with Din Djarin and Grogu. On top of that, this unknown period in Ahsoka’s life could serve as a great setting for us to learn more about the history of the Jedi order.
The Ahsoka Tano series will be created and executive produced by Mandalorian creator and executive producer Dave Filoni. Filoni was an executive producer on the animated series Clone Wars and Rebels, where Ahsoka was an important character, and the writer and director of her big live-action debut. The show will connect to another new Star Wars show, Rangers of the New Republic. According to Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy, the two series will crossover into a climactic event.
According to Disney’s announcement, the Ahsoka Tano series is set to debut sometime in 2022.

Trailer for 'THE MANDALORIAN' Season 2

Katee Sackhoff as Live-Action Bo-Katan Kryze
Basically the instigator behind the Siege of Mandalore that was so essential to the plot of the recently-ended Clone Wars series from Dave Filoni, Kryze likely has a bone to pick with Moff Gideon, who was revealed to have the Darksaber during The Mandalorian's Season 1 finale. Whatever her story may be in the series, it's almost certainly linked to this weapon and Gideon's possession of it.
How Boba Fett and Ahsoka Tano tie into all this alongside Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin and Baby Yoda...well, that's another story entirely. However, fans wanting to get a good grasp on the breadth of The Mandalorian's plotting should probably start doing their Filoni homework by binging his animated Star Wars shows in the following months.
The Mandalorian will return to reward fans' homework diligence in October.
