The Willow TV series was so bad that Disney removed it from existence as a tax write-off. The Acolyte was just as bad, if not worse. Will it be erased from Star Wars canon? And Acolyte fans are ticked off, directing their unhinged rage at Lucasfilm and Kathleen Kennedy. What a world we live in.

 

Did Disney pull down The Acolyte merchandise on the Disney Store after announcing the series cancellation? If so, WHY? Are they preparing for another write-down like Willow? The merch seems to be back... for now... but it seemed odd enough that mainstream media outlets noticed it.

Willow premieres November 30, exclusively on Disney+.
