Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] The story takes place in the fictional Japanese metropolis of City Z. The world is full of strange monsters that mysteriously appear and cause disasters. Saitama, the protagonist, is an exceptionally powerful hero who easily defeats the monsters or other villains with a single punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored with his powers and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can fight him. On his adventures, he meets new friends, enemies, and his own disciple, the cyborg Genos, and joins the Heroes Association in order to gain fame for all of his efforts to defeat evil. Despite defeating many strong monsters that even the Heroes Association’s top members are unable to defeat, Saitama struggles to gain respect. Most people look down on him due to his plain physical appearance, and some accuse him of being a counterfeit hero. Only a small number of individuals recognize his incredible talent and humility towards others.

Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] In an alternate world, a small percentage of children are able to manifest superpowers upon reaching puberty. Yuu Otosaka, a boy who awakens the ability to temporarily possess others, hopes to use his power to live an easy going high school life. However, he is caught red-handed by the mysterious Nao Tomori and is forced to transfer to Hoshinoumi Academy (星ノ海学園 Hoshinoumi Gakuen^?, "Star Ocean Academy"), where he and the other student council members must help students with abilities.

Soon after, she learns that Yato is a god and she ends up being dragged into the world of Gods while having to attempt staying in the realm of the living. This is Season Two of the popular series.

Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] In the year 2072, the world's energy problems seem solved by a network of cross-dimensional electric-field inductors—"coils"—that extract energy from a seemingly infinite source. That source is the W dimension, a fourth plane that exists beyond the X, Y, and Z dimensions. In this world, unofficial "illegal" coils harness powers that the police can't hope to counter. Dealing with these coils is the job of coil-hating repo man Kyoma, whose run-in with the unique coil android Mira leads the two to form a reluctant partnership.

The Link Between 'Rebels' And 'Force Awakens'

[Source: Yahoo!News] 2015 kicked off the revitalization of the Star Wars franchise on the big screen, but it s not the only place that fans had been able to watch new material in a galaxy far, far away. Star Wars Rebels is currently in the middle of Season 2, and while the animated series has been on break the last couple weeks, it s returning with new episodes next week. To get fans excited, a new trailer was released today, and while there were a lot of goodies to take in, what s caught many eyes is a key link between the show and the latest movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens: a lightsaber with a crossguard. As you can see in the image above, there s a quick shot of protagonist Ezra Bridger holding a green-bladed crossguard lightsaber...

That design can currently be seen in red-bladed form in Star Wars: The Force Awakens being held by main antagonist Kylo Ren. Here’s what executive producer Dave Filoni had to say about its inclusion to EW:

I wanted to put a nod to this new history we’re seeing in The Force Awakens. It’s important to have these links between stories in major ways and subtle ways. Here you find a sword we’ve encountered before and it gives a little more context to something that turns up later.

Although different lightsaber designs were seen across the previous six Star Wars movies, Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the first film in which the crossguard was introduced. The First Order’s Kylo Ren used it many times during Star Wars: The Force Awakens, whether it was going up against another person with a lightsaber or throwing a temper tantrum with it. 

At least we know that this design isn’t limited to just dark side users. It’s unclear, though, whether Ezra will keep this lightsaber or stick with his trusty blue one.

Another link to The Force Awakens in the trailer is a giant red beam shooting out of an ancient temple, calling back to Starkiller Base. However, Filoni made sure to note that this is an example of history repeating itself rather than the temple being a direct predecessor. Because we all know the Death Star occupies that spot. He also said the show is unlikely to reveal any big secrets from the movies, just like he wouldn’t want the movies to spoil what happens to any of the major Star Wars Rebels characters.

Make sure to watch the new trailer in its entirely below to learn what’s coming up, including more of Princess Leia’s guest spot, a confrontation between Ahsoka Tano and Darth Vader and the return of more characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Star Wars Rebels Season 2 will resume next Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. EST on Disney XD.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

A New Harry Potter Story Announced!

[Source: Yahoo!News] Pottermore just released the plot line of the eighth official story in the Harry Potter series, the Cursed Child poster, a brand new website for the play, and the ticket release date! 

Here's the synopsis.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn't much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

We have so many questions! He Who Must Not Be Named is gone, so what is causing "the darkness"? Why isn't James involved in any of this? And who is returning from Harry's past? Malfoy? A retired Death Eater?

The artwork for the play has also been released, featuring a small boy (who looks just like Albus) sitting in a bird's nest with black wings. 

Even more questions: Why does the Albus lookalike seem so sad? Why does the nest have wings, like a Golden Snitch? What does this all mean?!

Sadly, these questions won't be answered until next summer, when the two-part play hits stages at the Palace Theatre in London. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 28 to anyone who registered for priority booking and on Friday, October 30 to the general public. No word yet if or when  the play will come to the U.S., so time to start saving up for tickets to London, or putting them on your Christmas wish list. 

You better start practicing your jinxes, because the battle for these tickets will be like the Triwizard Tournament all over again.
