There's a need for speed in Cars 3 Trailer

Disney PIXAR's Cars 3
[Source: blastr] Disney-Pixar has released the first full trailer for Lightning McQueen’s (voiced by Owen Wilson) new high-octane speedy adventure, Cars 3.

Alongside everyone's favorite #95 racing car, the movie directed by Brian Fee (Cars 3 is actually Fee's first directing gig but dude is pretty familiar with the franchise, having worked as a storyboard artist on Cars and Cars 2) will also see the return of fan favorites Mater (Larry the Cable Guy), Sally Carrera (Bonnie Hunt) and Ramone (Cheech Marin).

Cars 3 will also have new players racing cars in the form of Jackson Storm (voiced by Armie Hammer) and Cruz Ramirez (Cristela Alonzo). It’s almost hard to believe it’s been six years since we last saw the gang in Cars 2 and I may have gotten a tad emotional (okay, a lot) watching the new trailer. Check out the official synopsis before racing to the finish line:

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

Cars 3 will open in movie theaters on June 16

A Special 'Celebration' Mission for this Cosplayer

Adorable Jyn Erso Cosplayer Spent
Star Wars Celebration Handing Out the
Death Star Plans to Every Princess Leia
[Source: io9] When you go to a massive convention like Star Wars Celebration, it’s best to have a game plan. Where are you going to go first? What panels are you going to prioritize, and which merchandise do you want to make sure you don’t miss? Well, this little Jyn cosplayer had a different mission: deliver the Death Star plans to every Leia she could find.

Jyn is actually named Harley, and she and her father Dino attended Celebration in Orlando last weekend with a special goal in mind, to pay tribute to the dearly departed Carrie Fisher. Harley, in costume as Rogue One’s Rebel Operative, would locate as many Princess Leia cosplayers as she could, and hand them a specially-crafted copy of the datacard containing the Death Star plans.
After all, that was the whole point of Rogue One! Whether it was a Leia from A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, or even General Leia from The Force Awakens, Harley completed her mission all over the convention, ensuring that the Imperial plans made their way to the Alliance, an adorable quest of hope.
The final datacard was saved for one special location on the show floor, though: at the feet of Leia’s ceremonial dress, the original prop from the end of A New Hope worn by Fisher.
Well done, little Rebel. The Princess would be proud. You can see more of Dino’s pictures from Celebration over on Imgur.

[Source: AnimeNewsNetwork] The film's setting will be Tokyo in 2017. In the film, Kei is a medical intern, with his age changed to match Satoh's.

Katsuyuki Motohiro (Psycho-Pass, Space Travelers, Bayside Shakedown) is directing the film. The live-action film project has invited the action filming team of the live-action Rurouni Kenshin films to work on the project.
In the original manga's story, an immortal first appeared on an African battlefield 17 years ago. Later, rare, unknown new immortal lifeforms began appearing among humans, and they became known as "Ajin" (demi-humans). Just before summer vacation, a Japanese high school student named Kei Nagai is instantly killed in a traffic accident on his way home from school. However, he is revived, and a price is placed on his head. Thus begins a boy's life on the run from all of humankind.

The film is slated to open in Japan on September 30
The manga already inspired a 3D CG anime film trilogy, two television anime seasons, and three original anime DVDs by Polygon Pictures
