KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE CONTINUES...
Released all the way back in 1989, Kiki's Delivery Service (or 魔女の宅急便, Majô no Takkyûbin) is one of Studio Ghibli's most beloved animated movies.Now Kiki's back in this beautiful commercial for -- you guessed it -- Nissin Cup Noodle! Kiki's a high school student now, studying alongside her best friend Tombo and putting her magical skills to good use in her slightly less than typical schoolgirl life.
Nissin's released two animated ads for their Hungry Days campaign, both featuring art by Eisaku Kubonouchi (check out the other video posted below) following the theme of adolescence as the school year draws to a close.
If there's one thing the beloved instant noodle brand is known for, it's the unusual way they market their brand. We can't wait to see the next offering from this classic Japanese company.
