The Animatrix Network is an anime & manga fan club located in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. We usually meet on the third Saturday of each month (except when holidays or conventions coincide). The meetings are free and open to the public. Join us for a day filled with anime.

Doc Brown Joins Us in Chicago 
Emmy Award-winning actor Christopher Lloyd has given us some of the most memorable characters in television and film during his long career. As Doc Brown in the "Back to the Future" trilogy, Uncle Fester in "The Addams Family" films, and Judge Doom in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," he showed us his mastery of the oddball character. Although, we already knew his talent, as we watched him as ex-hippie cabbie, Reverend Jim Ignatowski, in the television series "Taxi." Most recently he was Mr. Goodman in "Piranha 3D," and he currently voices the character Hacker on the animated PBS series "Cyberchase." In a rare public appearance for Mr. Lloyd, we're honored to have him join us in Chicago.

Readers of the space-based Green Lantern Corps know that artist Patrick Gleason and writer Peter Tomasi worked on the project since 2006, and had a big impact on the story and favorite characters including Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner and Sinestro. Now, with his work on Batman and Robin, Gleason is making an impact on yet another legendary comic book franchise. He'll be joining us at Chicago Comic Con in August!
