| [5/17/24 - 9:30 a.m.] The line for ACen stretches along the side of the entire convention center. For the first time, all attendees must go through security and metal detectors. |

| [5/17/24 - 9:35 a.m.] The line even occupies the entire skybridge that links the convention center and hotels with the parking garage. |

| [5/17/24 - 9:36 a.m.] A normal 7 minute walk took more than 45 minutes just to get through security. |

| [5/17/24 - 10:15 a.m.] Even though air conditioners were installed in the skybridge, with hundreds of people inside, the temperatures rose rapidly, causing some attendees to faint. |

The new security checkpoints were a huge bummer (especially on Friday and I was stuck in that same tiny hallway for about 20 minutes) but I'm going to expect this will be returning year after year, especially with Chicago area violence still rampant and respect their safety measures.
