Going to Japan to Recreate Anime in REAL LIFE

ANIME EXPEDITION
The Anime Expedition is a pilgrimage we took in November 2019 to visit the real life locations from some of our favorite anime of all time. The series features scenes from Your Name, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Yuru Camp, K-On!, Tsuki Ga Kirei, Tamako Market, and several more! We did our best to recreate the scenes exactly and will upload compilations of the comparisons alongside each episode. Featuring Anime vs. Real Life locations from Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Yamanashi, Toyosato and Kyoto

CONNECTED - Official Trailer

C  O  N  N  E  C  T  E  D
Saving the world can be a trip.
When Katie Mitchell (Abbi Jacobson), a creative outsider, is accepted into the film school of her dreams, her plans to meet "her people" at college are upended when her nature-loving dad Rick (Danny McBride) determines the whole family should drive Katie to school together and bond as a family one last time. Rick and Katie are joined by the rest of the family, including Katie's wildly positive mom Linda (Maya Rudolph), her quirky little brother Aaron (Mike Rianda), and the family's pet pug Monchi for the ultimate family road trip. Suddenly, the Mitchells' plans are interrupted by a tech uprising: all around the world, the electronic devices people love – from mobile phones to home appliances to an innovative new line of personal robots – decide it is time to take over. With the help of two friendly malfunctioning robots, the Mitchells will have to get past their problems and work together to save each other and the world.

Video Shows Japan is the Coolest Place on Earth

J A P A N   I S   A W E S O M E
[Source: Gizmodo] Vincent Urban filmed this totally bad ass video of Japan that captures so many sides of the country that it makes me want to immediately drop everything and book a ticket to experience what looks like the coolest place on Earth. From the frenetic city streets to the stillness of nature, Japan just does it better and seems much more interesting than the rest of the world.

Urban writes:
This film is a collection of audiovisual moments and memories of a 3-week railway journey through Japan in 2015. We were whizzing through the country with the Shinkansen visiting Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto as well as lots of wonderful little places along the way, meeting the most friendly people and experiencing a culture that somehow balances its rich tradition with a very futuristic present.
