7 Foot Tall Gundam Made of Paper

1,250 Parts Made From 720 Sheets of Paper
[Source: Syfy.com] Taras Lesko constructed this RX-178 Gundam as a demonstration of his mastery of papercraft, a phenomenon that seems to just keep getting cooler. It took 720 sheets, but those sheets were cut, folded and warped into 1,250 parts. All the paper is held up by a very simple 12-piece support frame, and though it looks sturdy and ready to kill something, the whole Gundam only weighs about 10 pounds. Lesko built a 4-foot version of this beast back in 2010, but this time he decided that just wasn't enough, and the results are awesome.
