The Animatrix Network is an anime & manga fan club located in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. We usually meet on the third Saturday of each month (except when holidays or conventions coincide). The meetings are free and open to the public. Join us for a day filled with anime.

This site provides news, reviews, commentaries, and previews of the world of anime and everything it inspires, such as live-action films, comics, music, art, and other weird things to enjoy and contemplate.

Alan Ng is a well-respected reporter and currently the editor and co-host (with Chris Gore) of Film Threat. He manages the daily content on the Film Threat website and oversees its writing staff. He is also a voting member of the Critics Choice Association. Alan is a professional comedian. He has performed improv comedy professionally since 1996. An author of two books on performing improv comedy. He has trained rookie improvisers in the art of scene work and short-form improv comedy. Alan has also produced a game show for the stage, a podcast and hosts/produces a weekly radio program about films and television. He has interviewed numerous filmmakers, writers, and actors.
