SUICIDE SQUAD ISEKAI

Harley Quinn and Joker rampage into Japanese anime in SUICIDE SQUAD ISEKAI (Isekai Sūsaido Sukuwaddo), an upcoming anime television series based on the DC Comics team Suicide Squad. It will be produced by Warner Bros. Japan and animated by Wit Studio, with Eri Osada serving as director, Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara as the screenwriters, Naoto Hosoda as the character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro as the composer. Manga artist Akira Amano will provide the original character drafts.

Beware of What Lurks in the Shadows...

The Eminence in Shadow

A boy in modern-day Japan desires to be a mastermind who exerts power from the shadows, but in the process of training, gets hit by a truck and dies. He reincarnates in a fantasy world under the name Cid Kagenou, where he maintains a perfectly mediocre appearance as to not stand out but instead pursue his dream of manipulating from the shadows. One day, he stumbles upon an elven girl infected by a mysterious disease and cures her. Cid makes up a story, explaining that this world is secretly run by the Cult of Diabolos, and his secret organization, Shadow Garden, are the only ones that can fight them. The elven girl, now named Alpha, joins this organization and begins recruiting new members. However, the stories Cid made up were actually true, but he believes it to be total delusion. Cid continues fighting the Cult of Diabolos under the alias Shadow, completely unaware that he is involved in a complicated power struggle.

Mushoku Tensei
Season 2 Announced for 2023

An unnamed 34-year-old Japanese NEET is evicted from his home after failing to attend his parents' funeral. After some self-reflection, he concludes that his life is ultimately pointless. Still, he intercepts a speeding truck heading towards a group of teenagers in an attempt to do something noteworthy for the first time in his life. He pulls one of them out of harm's way just before he dies. He awakens in the body of a baby and discovers he has been reincarnated in a world of sword and sorcery. He resolves to succeed in his new life, abandoning his previous identity in place of Rudeus Greyrat. Rudeus develops a strong affinity for magic due to his aptitude and early training. He becomes a student of demon magician Roxy Migurdia during his youth, a friend of demi-human Sylphiette, and a teacher of magic to noble heiress Eris Boreas Greyrat. The story chronicles his new life's highlights as he attempts to overcome the failures of his previous one.

The Eminence in Shadow

Ever since he was a child, he wanted to become a shadowbroker, a person who operates in the shadows. He trained up his body, doing practically everything possible in the world, until one day on one of his training sessions, he encountered magic. However, this was not magic and was in fact, the headlights of a car. And so, he died.

Even after reincarnating, the boy, now the son of a noble, Cid Kagenou, wanted to achieve his dreams. After rescuing a girl, Cid creates an elaborate plot about how he was the leader of an ancient organization, sworn to fight the Cult of Diabolos, so as to prevent said cult from resurrecting Diabolos. The girl swears her allegiance to Cid and so, he builds his organization, the Shadow Garden.

The Doors to Disaster are Opening...

Suzume no Tojimari

The film is about Suzume, a 17-year-old girl who lives in a quiet town in the Kyushu region of southwestern Japan. The story begins when Suzume meets a young man looking for a "door". The two travel together and find an old door at an abandoned house in the mountains. As if pulled by something, Suzume reaches out her hand towards the door and is pulled in. "Doors of Disaster" begin to appear across Japan, which started a series of unfortunate disasters.

The film is a journey through Japan as Suzume needs to close and lock the "Doors of Disaster" one by one to stop the disasters, as well as an adventure and battle in the modern world in search of a girl's maturity and freedom.

The Rising of the Shield Hero is an anime series adapted from the light novels of the same title written by Aneko Yusagi. At 2019's Crunchyroll Expo, it was announced that the series will receive a second and third season. At 2020's virtual Crunchyroll Expo, it was announced that the second season will premiere in 2021. Masato Jinbo will replace Takao Abo as director, and the rest of the staff members will reprise their roles, with production by Kinema Citrus and DR Movie.
