Despite defeating many strong monsters that even the Heroes Association’s top members are unable to defeat, Saitama struggles to gain respect. 1:15 - 2:15    Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin (Part 2)
Mobile Suit GUNDAM: The Origin 2
"Artesia's Sorrow"
Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] It is the year Universal Century 0079, and the eighth month of a vicious war between the Earth Federation and a breakaway nation of space colonists, the Principality of Zeon. The story follows the crew of the ship White Base, as they fight to ferry the experimental RX-78 Gundam mobile suit to the Federation base at Jaburo. Although for the most part faithful to the original series' plot (all of the major events unfold in mostly the same manner as the TV series, though often in different locales), Yasuhiko has taken the liberty of changing certain elements in the series universe, giving a different character to the series and the struggle that unfolds. Primary among these is the presence of mobile suits in both sides well before the conflict begins—in fact, in the flashback sequences, both the Earth Federation Forces and Zeon use Guntanks in 0068, and they and the Guncannon mobile suit are described as "obsolete" and fit for target practice in the first volume (in the TV series proper, both units were as new as the Gundam itself, designed to serve as long and mid-range fire support units). Other differences concern the breadth of the Gundam's journey to Jaburo. Where it's implied that the White Base's journey to Jaburo in the series was pretty much a circumnavigation of the globe unconnected to many real-world locations, Yasuhiko's journey places the White Base's landfall near Los Angeles, the headquarters of Garma Zabi (in the series, Garma was based out of a generic "New York"—Origin in fact states the Zeon occupation HQ as Los Angeles City Hall, with Garma residing in Hollywood/Beverly Hills) and moves the craft steadily to the southeast, and down the South American coast—past Caracas, Venezuela and through Macchu Picchu and into Brazil, where Jaburo, the headquarters of the Earth Federation, is located. This retelling cuts out some of the more trivial encounters seen in the original series, while keeping and expanding on important characters like Garma, Ramba Ral, and the Black Tri-Stars. As a direct result the events of Operation Odessa which takes place around the Ukrainian city of the same name, occur after the events of Jaburo, as opposed to the anime where they occur before. Yasuhiko further finally tells the entire back story of the Gundam universe in the manga. After the successful defense of Jaburo, the story diverts into a very in-depth flashback, told primarily from the viewpoints of Sayla and Char (with a secondary thread being told from Amuro's POV) recounting the downfall of Zeon Zum Deikun, the rise of the Zabi family, the construction of Side 7 and the research into Mobile Suits, and leading up through a decade until the launching of the One Year War. It also goes into detail answering many previously unanswered questions such as the appearance of heretofore unseen Zeon mobile suits prior to the MS-05 Zaku I, how Dozle Zabi received his trademark scars and even the origin of Casval Deikun/Edward Mass' "Char Aznable" identity. Volume fourteen, deals with the Battle of Loum at the beginning of the One Year War, and is the last piece of the in-depth flashback. The story shifted back on track to the original anime's storyline, featuring the White Base's involvement in the Federation's Operation Odessa, as well as including Kai Shiden's encounter with Miharu. Afterwards, the manga deals with the end of the Odessa campaign and (in another departure from the series) takes M'Quve and his Gyan out of the picture before he has a chance to confront the Gundam.

2:15 - 3:05    Lupin the Third (2015) Eps 1-2
Lupin the Third (2015)
Plot Summary: [Source: Wikipedia] After receiving a mysterious invitation, Inspector Zenigata arrives in San Marino for Lupin's wedding to Rebecca Rossellini, a wealthy heiress and businesswoman. It's soon revealed that the marriage is a sham, and that Lupin plans to steal the Royal Crown of Liberty, a rare artifact given to women to wear on the day after their wedding. Zenigata unravels the plan after someone claiming to be Lupin sends him a message, and begins chasing the criminals. As this is happening, Fujiko attempts to steal the Crown by tying up and gagging a local administrator and stealing his identity. She is captured in the ensuing chase, and Lupin is forced to surrender the Crown in exchange for her release. Someone disguised as the local police captain then leaves with the Crown, but is cornered by Lupin. After removing their disguise, it is revealed that the mastermind behind the entire plot was Rebecca, and that she deliberately manipulated Lupin to serve as a distraction while she stole the Crown herself. She manages to escape with the artifact, while Lupin remarks that he should have made her sign divorce papers before she left.

3:05 - 4:45    Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie
GHOST IN THE SHELL: The New Movie

It is up to Public Security Section 9, led by Major Motoko Kusanagi, to discover the true nature of the murder. They are aided by the Prime Minister's son, Osamu Fujimoto.

New CW's 'Archie' series: RIVERDALE

R I V E R D A L E
As if Afterlife With Archie and the successful new comic relaunch of the flagship series weren’t enough, The CW is also putting together a live-action spin on the classic Archie comic dubbed Riverdale. Now we finally have some juicy details.

This being a CW series, you knew we could expect some high-stakes high-school drama — and it sounds like this one will not disappoint. TV Line has revealed the character descriptions for the series below, and we get everything from a boyishly handsome Archie with a “dark, terrible secret” to an “emo-heartthrob” version of Jughead. Oh, and Betty has an issue with Adderall, and Veronica is fresh off a scandal that ended with her dad in prison.
Oh, you know, just your average Monday on The CW.

Check out the full character descriptions below and let us know what you think:
Archie Andrews: A high school sophomore, the redhead is still boyishly handsome but “pumped and looking good after working construction for his dad during the summer.” Archie is grappling with heavy issues and juggling the interest of several girls while discovering his passion for writing and performing music against his father and his football coach’s better wishes. Oh, and he’s harboring more than one dark, terrible secret.

Betty Cooper: The blonde and pretty sophomore is described as having “some self-esteem issues and affinity for Adderall.” Eager-to-please, wholesome and studious, Betty has a super-crush on her longtime best bud, Archie. But tired of being the “perfect” everything, she turns to her new friend, Veronica, for life advice. Betty has an emotionally brittle mom, a goth-like sister and a coveted spot on the cheerleading squad — though with certain conditions….

Veronica Lodge: Producers are aiming to ideally cast a Latina as this “silver-tongued” stunner, who has just returned to Riverdale from New York following a scandal which resulted in her father going to prison. Extremely intelligent, self-confident and immediately popular, Veronica is eager to reinvent herself — from Mean Girl to caring friend.

Jughead Jones: A hearing-impaired actor is being sought to play Jughead as an “emo-heartthrob.” The lanky lad is Archie’s former best friend, seeing as the two still are smarting from a rift that took place between them. Angry, but with a philosophical bent, Jughead “refuses to take the olive branch being proffered by Archie, the hurt goes that deep.”

The series, dubbed Riverdale, is currently in development.

Diablo 3 Patch 2.4 Will Introduce New Dungeons

D I A B L O   I I I
[Source: CinemaBlend] Diablo 3's Patch 2.4 will be hitting the Public Test Realm soon. This update is going to bring some major changes to the action RPG.

Players who have assembled full item sets will have new challenges to overcome in Patch 2.4. Once you're wearing a full class set, the game will point you toward an exclusive dungeon. These dungeons have non-randomized layouts and will test your command of your class. If you complete the adventure, you'll earn new cosmetic rewards. Blizzard said that there will be extra incentives for hardcore players that beat every item set dungeon for their class. The slim minority that decides to beat all 24 item set dungeons in the game will likewise get a reward.

The richest players, meanwhile, will have a new activity to spend their money on. When you enter a Greater Rift, you can spend gold to make it an Empowered Rift. This boosts the number of potential Legendary Gem upgrades you can earn at the end. Blizzard didn't say exactly how much Empowered Rifts will cost but did mention the price will scale up based on the tier of Greater Rift.

Blizzard is also expanding the game world in Patch 2.4. Adventure Mode will introduce Greyhollow Island, a zone available through the Adventure Mode:
This mysterious forested locale is steeped in intrigue, and rumors abound that those who visit are doomed to never return. Brave the wild beasts and supernatural creatures and unravel the mystery behind the tragedies that have occurred here.
Two existing regions in the game world are also being fleshed out. Outside the Ruins of Sescheron, players will find the Eternal Woods. This forest is crawling with the undead but also plenty of new bounties and events. The Royal Quarters next to Leoric's Manor in Act 1 will give players further insight into the Skeleton King's pre-skeleton life in addition to new targets for your aggression.

Blizzard's obviously adding a bunch of new loot in the patch as well. There will be over forty new Legendary powers to unlock in 2.4. These powers will be obtainable through new and existing items. All of the class sets in the game are getting reworked in some way so they'll be desirable. The Crusader class, meanwhile, can look forward to a new flail-and-shield set. You'll have ways to unlock more stash space as well to hold all this loot.

If you're playing the PC/Mac version of Diablo 3, Patch 2.4 will give you some extra features. The Season Journey, a set of challenges for Seasonal players, will now provide you with a special collection of set items called Haedrig's Gift. You're guaranteed a full item set for your class if you finish the first four chapters of the Season Journey. Season Rebirth allows you to re-use a character from a previous Season by stripping all of their gear and reducing their level to 1. This stripped gear will then be mailed to you between Seasons.

PC gamers will also be receiving some updates to the combat to bring them in line with the console edition. The new Action Combat system brings some different bonuses for killing sprees:

Massacre bonuses begin once you’ve killed at least fifteen or moreenemies, and as you kill more, you’ll see this new bar accompanied with a timer that indicates how long you have to engage another enemy before you trigger your bonus. Completing a Massacre bonus gives you a boost to experience gained—the more monsters you kill, the higher the bonus.

Destruction bonuses occur when you chain demolishing destructible environment objects in the world around you, including barrels, stalactites, flimsy wooden doors, and more. Chaining together this wreckage will grant you a temporary boost to speed that will last longer the higher your chain reaches.

Finally, you can receive the Trap Mastery buff by defeating enemies through the clever use of environmental traps. This handy buff lasts longer based on the number of enemies defeated and grants you double resource generation for its duration.
Blizzard didn't provide a release date for Patch 2.4. However, they say it will hit the Public Test Realm in a matter of weeks.

STAR WARS 7 International Trailer

New footage from the international trailer allows us to finally piece together a rough timeline for The Force Awakens. The general series of events seems to begin with Finn (John Boyega) escaping the New Order and crash-landing on Jakku. From there, he meets Rey, and soon the New Order tracks Finn down and burns Rey’s village to the ground. Han, Chewie, and the Millenium Falcon then swoop in, scoop up Finn and Rey, and throw them directly into the fray.

Duracell Star Wars Commercial

This battery commercial reveals bigger
secrets than the Star Wars trailers
[Source: Yahoo!Games] Trusted everywhere from Coruscant to Kessel

The battery maker Duracell might've just given away some serious Star Wars: The Force Awakens secrets in a new commercial.

Spoiler alert: We understand if you want to go into The Force Awakens blind, padawan. That's why we've added this warning. You need to be mindful of the living force, but not at the expense of the moment, so don't scroll ahead if you don't want to see something new. And if you'd rather not take part in a lighthearted version of the speculation game, be warned: Here be (krayt) dragons.

Set at home on Christmas morning, the commercial follows the adventures of a blonde brother and his brown-haired sister playing with their new Star Wars toys, powered by Duracell's Quantum batteries line. These Duracells retain the copper top of old but replace the black bottom with a red sleeve.

That's appropriate, given that, at the beginning of the commercial, we see C-3PO and his new red arm, in motion for the first time.
It's a bit surprising, given that 3PO isn't featured in any of the trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. His left arm was also conveniently obscured in the movie's gorgeous official poster, as you can see in the detail below. Both indicate that the filmmakers are trying to keep the droid's colorful appendage a secret, though you may have seen it if you've been looking at the movie's tie-in toys, a promotional image from Entertainment Weekly or his upcoming comic, which will explain where it came from.
Having finished his bedroom chat with R2-D2 and C-3PO, the brother runs downstairs and out the door. He wields Luke Skywalker's blue Empire Strikes Back-era lightsaber and tosses his sister a toy a version of Luke's green Return of the Jedi lightsaber. And this is where it might just get very, very interesting.

The sister appears to be dressed as Rey, The Force Awakens' female protagonist.

We haven't heard much about Rey from official channels, beyond what the actress Daisy Ridley said about her character during the Star Wars Celebration fan event earlier this year.
"We discover Rey on the desert planet of Jakku," Ridley said. "She is a scavenger in a ship graveyard and she is completely self sufficient — she does everything for herself — and very solitary. Until she meets another character, and an adventure begins."

The girl in the commercial is flanked by Stormtroopers, and what she does to one of them might be revelatory. Check her out below.
If that's supposed to be Rey — the clearest indication seems to be Rey's leather wrap on her left forearm — then it appears that the Force is strong with this resident of Jakku.

Or maybe they're just kids playing. Press play below to watch Duracell's "Battle for Christmas Morning" and decide for yourself.

For more on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, be sure to browse our recent feature, where we attempt to uncover the secrets in the latest trailer before the movie's Dec. 18 release.
